OMR Software Installation, User Guide -

 

Installation Guide
  • You will receive OMR software setup link through email by Softlogic team
  • Double-click on OMR software setup file to start installation
  • Accept OMR software license agreement and continue clicking 'Next' button
  • OMR software installation will be completed in few minutes and you are ready to start OMR sheet reading and checking process via desktop icon on your computer

 

 

Define OMR Test

  • Add Test Name
  • 'Test ID' field will be auto-generated by software
  • Define no. of sets of question paper available in test.
  • Define Test Date
  • Enter Subject and no. of questions belonging to that subject. You can enter multiple subjects to get subject-wise result report from software
  • Save Test. Alternatively, you can also 'Modify' pre-defined test

 

Read OMR Sheets

  • Scan all OMR sheets filled by candidates at 300 dpi using any ADF (automatic document feeder) scanner in .bmp (bitmap) format and save scanned images of sheets on your computer where OMR software is installed
  • Select the OMR sheet template, previosuly designed in OMR software
  • Select the test, for which you wish to read OMR sheets
  • Browse scanned images of OMR sheets on your computer
  • Click 'Read' button to start OMR sheets reading process
  • If any OMR sheet(s) has error in reading due to improper designing, printing, scanning process then 'Error' button will become Red
  • Click on 'Error' button to see which OMR sheets have problems in reading. For such OMR sheets, you can manually enter OMR choices marked by candidates

 

Design OMR Sheet / Form

  • Open 'New Design' page
  • From drop-down list, select types of OMR bubbles you wish to plot on OMR form, fill-in required details and click 'Generate' button
  • You can import logo / images etc. on OMR sheet through 'Import Image' option
  • After OMR sheet design is complete, Save OMR template file on your computer

 

 

 

Enter OMR Answer-key

  • Select 'Test Name' from drop-down list, for which you wish to enter answer-key
  • You can enter question-wise marks
  • There are options to enter Bonus, Positive, Negative marks
  • Marks in decimal no.s can also be entered
  • If you had entered no. of sets for test in 'Define Test' step, you will see those many no. of columns to enter answer-keys for respective sets

 

 

 

 

View OMR Test Results

  • Select type of OMR report you wish to see and export in MS-excel format.
  • Types of report available are - Testwise report, Absent report, Candidate Report, Complete Test Analysis report, Categorywise report
  • By default, only Roll. no of candidates along with other report columns will be displayed. If you wish to display details like name, parent name, mobile number, category, class, batch etc. you will need to first enter all these details in 'Student Information' section in OMR software
